SKI WAX TESTING In the Lab
WAX MANU: NOBi
Version Cold/Race
Color Blue
melt test passed
smoke no
Hardness passed
smell test passed
water test passed
Compatible passed
on snow
Notes:
Melted with iron at 2.5 / rayon setting. No smoke observed.
Smell was awesome. Each tech loved the scent.
water test uses a water droplet / then observe the height and roll rate
of droplet. Since colder wax does not have as much fluro additives the droplet
should have less height as compared to a warm wax.
hardness tested against scotchbrite pad scraping.
Compatible with Zardoz Notwax.
On snow - could not complete until winter.
Impression:
Can't wait to ski on it.
Ingredients:
Paraflint hardner
fluro-carbons
Teflon
Magnesium theory will melt top layer snow/wax giving more speed.

Tested Multiple Race Days Update 2/11/2004
Cold TEMP / LOW HUMIDITY CONDITIONS
At 7 Springs PA., Roundtop PA.

Temp 2-15 f Sunny
Humidity 20 percent
New manmade packed, groomed, loose, Hard ICE on NASTAR
Wax Blue 100%

General Performance:
add more blue as the temps dip below 28 f
keep some Blue in the mix to handle the abuse of man made snow
a general mix of 50% 50% Blue /Red will work well.
Once above 35 degrees go full red.
I have used the wax for 25 days skiing in conditions from ICE, Hardpack, SoftSnow, new fluffy powder, loose granular.
Temp range 2 f to 50 f. Humidity 20 percent to 90 percent.
You can mix blue/red for a Mid Fluro setup
